Reference
This section is your look-up shelf while you build: which widget does what, what a wrapper adds, which key gets it done faster, and what a word means. You don't need to read it from start to finish. Jump in whenever a question comes up, then get back to your app.
Look something up
| Page | What you'll find |
|---|---|
| Widget catalog | Every built-in widget in the Library, what it's for and the settings worth knowing. |
| Wrappers | The widgets that go around another widget to give it one extra thing, such as space, a tap action, a fade or scrolling, and what their settings mean. |

| Glossary | The words you'll meet in Nowa and in these docs, in plain language: Nowa's own terms, plus the app-building, data and publishing words. |
Widget guides
Some widgets need a little setup after you drop them on the board. These four guides walk you through them:
- Lists and grids: repeat one item design for every entry in a list, such as every product in your shop.
- Text fields and forms: add a text field and check what people type before you use it.
- Navigation bars and screen parts: add an app bar, a drawer, a floating button and a bottom navigation bar.
- Images, video, animations and web content: show pictures, video, animations and web pages.
Next steps
- Add widgets: put what you looked up on a screen.
- Tour the editor: find your way around.
