Nowa 3.16.4: Faster Nowa AI and Multilingual Apps

With Nowa 3.16.4, Nowa AI gets your requests done faster and with fewer credits, and you can translate your app right on the board. 🚀

⚡ Nowa AI: faster, and lighter on your credits​

Nowa AI now gets to the answer in fewer steps. It spends less time looking around your project and more time building, so your changes land sooner and each request uses fewer credits. Here's what changed:

  • Fewer trips back and forth. Nowa AI reads several files at once and gets small files whole. When a search finds just a few places, it gets the code around each one right away, instead of going back for more.
  • No reading the same code twice. After an edit, it hears only what Nowa changed, instead of reading the whole file again, and when it explores your project it skips the code it has already seen.
  • Faster saves on cloud projects. Each edit Nowa AI makes waits for one trip to our servers, instead of four or more.

There's something new it can do, too: ask Nowa AI to move or rename a file or a folder, and every import that points to it follows, in your code and in your tests.

Taking on something big? Deep Thinking, the level for big features and tricky logic, now runs on Google's Gemini 4 Argon.

Nowa AI now needs Nowa 3.16.4 or later. If you're on an older version, the chat will ask you to update.

🌍 Translate your app right on the board​

Reach more people by speaking their language. Ask Nowa AI to add the languages you need, for example "Make my app available in English and Arabic", and it sets your app up the way Flutter recommends. Then you can see and polish every translation right on your board:

  • See your screens in each language. Click an empty spot on the board, then pick a Language under All boards in Details. Every board switches to it, and languages like Arabic flow right to left.
  • Add a language in a click. Search the same list by a language's name, in English or in its own script, and click it.
  • Translate as you go. Select a text and Details shows it in the language your boards show. A text that's still missing says not translated, so you know exactly what's left. Type the translation and press Enter, or double-click the text on the board, type over it and press Esc.
  • Make any text translatable. For a text you typed straight into a widget, click Translate next to it in Details.

👥 Bring all your GitHub accounts​

Your own repositories and your team's can now sit side by side. In the Git settings, under GitHub Integration, click Add account to connect another GitHub account. Each account shows whether it's personal or an organization and how many repositories Nowa can use, and Manage opens it on GitHub so you can pick them. See Connect GitHub.

🎞️ See your Lottie animations in the Library​

Lottie animations in your assets now play right in their thumbnails in the Library, so you can find the one you want at a glance.
