Nowa 3.11.5: Smarter context, better designs

Nowa 3.11.5 only moves the version number a little, but what's inside is not small at all. 🧹 Smart context cleaning cuts the credits your prompts use by up to 75% in long sessions, Design mode is now the best place to start a new project, and running your app is more reliable.

  • 🧹 Way Fewer Credits with Smart Context Cleaning When a chat with the AI gets long, older parts of the conversation get sent along with every new message. Every prompt gets more expensive, and the AI starts losing focus. Now, as the session grows, the agent removes the parts of the old context it no longer needs, while keeping everything that matters for the results and the overall picture of your app.

    • Up to 75% fewer credits per prompt: in our testing, sessions that go beyond three or four prompts saw credit usage drop by up to 75%.
    • Faster, better results: tasks run faster, and the AI stays focused on what actually matters.

    If the previous history isn't needed for your next task, starting a fresh chat is still the best way to go.

  • 🎨 Design Mode Is the Best Place to Start a New Project We now recommend starting every new project in Design mode. It follows the natural flow of building an app: you start with the design, focus fully on your screens and how people move through them, and leave the logic for later.

    • Better designs: Design mode is now much more capable of creating modern designs that feel unique to your app instead of looking like a template.
    • Five questions first: before it starts building, it asks about the look and feel, the tone, the user experience and how the app flows from one screen to the next. For the questions about user experience and flow, it highlights a recommended answer.
    • Smarter next steps: once the first version of the design is ready, it's smarter about suggesting what to do next.

  • ▶️ Running Your App Is More Reliable Some of you saw the app fail to run for no clear reason, most of the time because the simulator was still booting while the AI was in the middle of its work. Now your simulator only shows an error or fails to run if your project actually contains errors, and you can fix them with one click using AI.

  • ✨ Smaller Touches

    • Uploaded images make it into your app: the AI adds the images you upload to your project's assets and uses them on its own.
    • A smarter AI agent: it explores your project and edits files better, for better results, lower cost and faster execution.
    • A better support chat: the support chat panel got a round of improvements.
